Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2015, to Dec. 31, 2018. Signed on July 15, 2015.

Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2015: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 2%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 2.25%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2.25%

Shift premium: $1.40 per hour for responsibility pay. $1.50 per hour for evening shifts. $1.55 per hour for night shifts.

Paid holidays: 13 days. Time and one-half for all hours worked on a named holiday.

Vacations with pay: 18 days to start, 23 days after 3 years, 27 days after 8 years, 30 days after 15 years, 35 days after 20 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 hours of overtime worked, double time for all subsequent hours worked. Up to 20 days per year may be banked.

Sick leave: 1.25 days earned per month worked. Unused credits may be carried over to the next year.

Pension: Northern Employee Benefits Services. No other details available.

Bereavement leave: 5 days for the death of an immediate family member.

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at straight time rate or actual hours worked at overtime rates – whichever is greater.

Probationary period: 6 months.

Severance: 2 weeks’ pay for first year of service, 1 week’s pay for each succeeding completed year of continuous employment. Up to 28 weeks’ pay total.

Safety shoes: Up to $250 per year.

Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply: coveralls, specialized gloves, hard hats, aprons, welding goggles, dust protection equipment, eye protection equipment, ear protection equipment, pool uniform, goggles, deck shoes.
