Medical radiation technologists working at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Kitchener, Ont., are unionizing to bargain for their first collective agreement.
The employees will become members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU).
Almost 90 employees will be affected by the deal.
The workers in questions typically work in diagnostic imaging at the hospital providing X-rays, mammograms and ultrasounds.
