Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: One and one-quarter (1¼) days for each calendar month of service to start, one and two-thirds (1 2/3) days after 8 years, two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days after 20 years.
Overtime: Recreation and culture program officers: From Monday to Friday, equal time off. Overtime work on Friday evening (after 5 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday compensated by time and one-half (1½) off. All other classifications: Time and one-half (1½) the hourly rate or time and one-half(1½) off or any combination of salary and time off.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75 per cent. 
Dental: Employer pays 50 per cent.
Sick leave: One and one quarter (1¼) days per month up to a maximum credit of 240 working days.
LTD: Up to 28 months. 
Life insurance: Province of New Brunswick Group Life Insurance Program. 
Bereavement leave: 7 paid days for death of employee’s mother, father, person in loco parentis, spouse, son, daughter, brother or sister. 5 paid days for employee’s mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother/sister-in-law, son/daughter-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, or other relatives living in the employee’s household. 2 paid days for employee’s aunt, uncle, niece or nephew. A maximum of 3 additional days may be allowed for the purpose of travel to attend the funeral of any of these relatives. 1 paid day for employee to act as pallbearer.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year
Probationary period: 6 months.

Editor’s notes: Maternity leave: 17 weeks. Child care leave: 37 weeks. When both parents are employees, both may share the leave. Paternity leave: 3 days.
