Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2017. Signed on Sept. 1, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.5%
Shift premium: $1.10 per hour (previously $0.90 per hour) for work between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: Full-time employees: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 6 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 22 years. Part-time employees: 4% to start, 6% after 2 years, 8% after 4 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. May be banked, maximum 40 hours.
Medical benefits: Employer covers 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer covers 50% of premiums.
Vision: Employer covers 50% of premiums.
Sick leave: 1 day per month, maximum 12 days (pro-rated for part-time workers).
STD: Employer covers 50% of premiums.
LTD: Employer covers 50% of premiums. 
Life insurance: Employer covers 100% of premiums.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Probationary period: 4 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Severance: 1 week’s pay if employed more than 3 months; 2 weeks’ pay if employed for 2 years; 4 weeks’ pay if employed for 4 years; 5 weeks’ pay if employed for 6 years; 6 weeks’ pay if employed for 8 years; 8 weeks’ pay if employed for 10 years.
Safety shoes: $150 per year ($100 may be used for work clothing).
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply approved eye protection, safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves, hard hats, safety vests and coveralls.

Editor’s notes: Standby duty: Any employee who is required for standby duty will be paid $200 per week. Retirement bonus: Employees who retire with a minimum of 10 years of service will receive a town plaque and $10 for each year of service. Long-service recognition: Employees who have completed years of service in 5-year increments will be recognized. For 5 years’ service: town plaque and $100 gift certificate. For 10 years’ service: attachment to the 5-year plaque and $150 gift certificate. For 15 years’ service: attachment to the 5-year plaque and $200 gift certificate. For 20 years’ service: attachment to the 5-year plaque and a $250 gift certificate. For 25 years’ service: attachment to the 5-year plaque and a $300 gift certificate. For 30 years’ service: attachment to the 5-year plaque and a $350 gift certificate.
