Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2020. Signed on May 9, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2017: 2%
Effective April 1, 2018: 2%
Effective April 1, 2019: 2.5%
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 ¼ days per month to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 2 years, 5 weeks after 9 years, 6 weeks after 19 years. 
Overtime: Double-time for all overtime. Minimum 3 hours if called in on regular day of rest. Minimum 4 hours if called in on paid holiday or designated vacation day. May be taken as time off.
Meal allowance: $15 if employee is required to work 3 hours or more of overtime following normal work day.
Medical benefits: Employer provides 100% of coverage.
Dental: Employer provides coverage.
Paramedical: Employer provides health spending account of $475 in 2016, increasing each year to $700 in 2019 for full-time employee. $237.50 to $350 for part-time employees.
Sick leave: One-half day for each pay period up to 12 days per year. 4 hours for each 80 hours worked up to 96 hours per year for food services employees. Can be carried over to a maximum of 154 days.
Life insurance: Employer provides 100% of coverage.
Pension: All eligible employees covered by University Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death of spouse, same-sex partner, parent, stepparent, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandparent-in-law, stepgrandparent, child, stepchild, sibling, sibling-in-law, grandchild, stepgrandchild. 1 paid day to attend funeral as a participant or for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, or co-worker.
Seniority – recall rights: 52 pay periods.
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours at overtime rate if called back to duty after working.
Probationary period: 6 months minimum, 12 months maximum. 520 hours of service for food services and casual employees.
Severance: Employees over 55 with at least 10 years’ service receive 1 week’s salary for each year of service upon retirement, to a maximum of 15 weeks. Regular employee terminated without cause receives 1 week’s salary for each year of service, regardless of age or service.
