Molson Coors and Canadian Union of Brewery and General Workers (CUBGW), Local 325 have a new agreement after the union membership ratified a four-year contract on Feb. 26, according to the union.

This new collective agreement covers 320 unionized employees employed at the company's Etobicoke, Ont., facility.

"While this was a challenging round of negotiations, this new contract positions Molson to be more efficient and flexible while also remaining fair to our employees and their needs," said Amy Michtich, chief supply chain officer, Molson Coors Canada.

"This new 4-year agreement contract continues to provide our hourly employees with a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that we are very proud of and one our members value," said Rob Folk, president of CUBGW, Local 325.

The workers walked off the job Jan. 12.
