Renewal agreement: Effective Oct. 2, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on Dec. 9, 2016.
Shift premium: $75 premium (previously $65) will apply on all trips to the island of New York. $100 maximum per day for layover on the island of New York. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25%.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 120 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.

Regular: 1.07 rising 4 steps to 1.11
Over 53M: 1.16 rising 4 steps to 1.2
Over 72M: 1.22 rising 4 steps to1.26
Empty: 1.03 (for the duration of the agreement)

Regular: 1.06 rising 2 steps to 1.08
Over 53M: 1.19 rising 2 steps to 1.17
Over 72M: 1.21 rising 2 steps to 1.23
Empty: 1.03 (for the duration of the agreement)
All movements of 175 miles but less than 500 miles
Regular: 1.28 rising 4 steps to 1.32

Effective Oct. 2, 2016: $0.06 (previously $0.4) per-mile bonus on all miles travelled between Ontario and the following states: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia.

Movements (Costco) only
Pick-up: $42.20 (for the duration of the agreement)
Delivery: $42.20 (for the duration of the agreement)
Drop/hook (incl. garage): $25.10 (for the duration of the agreement)
Switch: $42.20 (for the duration of the agreement)
City owner-operator rates: $39.50 rising 4 steps to $41.50
Lump sum: $300 within 30 days of the signing of the deal.
Editor’s notes: Negotiation, conciliation pay: The company will pay for 8 owner-operators appointed by the union — 4 to represent the local 106 of Montreal and 4 to represent the local 938 of Toronto — $350 for each day during which negotiation or conciliation meetings take place. Permits: The employer will pay a maximum $500 every 12 months for permits required to operate in the U.S. The company will provide haul-away permits for $100 to owner-operators. Tolls: $200 cash advance will be provided if needed to cover applicable tolls.
