Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 1, 2015, to Nov. 30, 2019. Signed on Oct. 24, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Dec. 1, 2016: 2%
Effective Dec. 1, 2017: 2%
Effective Dec. 1, 2018: 2%
Shift premium: $0.75 per hour for all hours worked after 6 p.m. Time and one-half for all hours worked that fall within 10 hours of employee’s last hours of work. $20 per day when employee works as a department manager. 
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 9 years, 5 weeks after 19 years, 6 weeks after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 3 hours worked in any 1 day in excess of 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week. Double time for overtime hours after the first 3. Time and one-half for all hours worked on a statutory holiday. Drivers may bank overtime pay, maximum 40 hours.
Sick leave: 8 hours for every 173 hours worked. Any employee with 60 days’ accumulated sick leave receives 35% of regular salary of unused sick leave over the 60-day maximum. No extra pay for employees below the 60-day maximum until it is obtained.
Pension: Employees contribute 6% of pay, company matches the contributions.
Bereavement leave: Up to 5 working days for death of immediate family member (spouse, parent, sibling, child, parent-in-law, stepparent, stepchild, grandchild). Up to 5 unpaid days for emergencies or sickness of immediate family member. Required time off without pay for attending funeral as pallbearer. Up to 2 days with pay for death of grandparent.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Probationary period: 520 hours/3 months.
Severance: 1 week’s notice or pay in lieu for service time between 3 months and 1 year; 2 weeks’ notice or pay for service time between 1 and 3 years; 4 weeks for service time between 3 and 5 years; 6 weeks for service time between 5 and 10 years; 8 weeks for service time greater than 10 years.
Safety shoes: Company reimburses 50% of the cost of safety boots for employees required to wear them.
Uniforms/clothing: Company provides and launders smocks, aprons, coveralls and mitts for lumber and agro workers. Company provides uniform shirts and pants to all employees. Up to 2 fleece jackets/vests provided on a 50/50 cost-shared basis. Meat department employees provided with sweaters or jackets.

Office clerk, assistant head cashier: $13.53 rising in 7 steps to $18.51
File maintenance, head cashier, grocery supervisor, cake decorator: $14.57 rising in 7 steps to $20.06
Pharmacy assistant: $13.53 rising in 9 steps to $18.36
Pharmacy technician: $21.33 rising in 7 steps to $27.46
Meat cutter, petroleum driver, fertilizer driver: $17.69 rising in 7 steps to $22.57
Driver: $13.53 rising in 7 steps to $18.93
Yard foreman: $13.53 rising in 7 steps to $20.06
Home centre clerk: $12.48 rising in 9 steps to $18.36
Maintenance: $17.34 rising in 9 steps to $25.50
Senior clerk: $0.75 above clerk’s salary (when designated by management)
Clerk/cashier (Domremy/Smeaton/Paddockwood/Canwood): $11.19 rising in 7 steps to $13.80
Petroleum driver: $17.69 rising in 7 steps to $22.57
Clerk/cashier (Wakaw): $11.44 rising in 7 steps to $15.06
Meat cutter, produce operator: $12.48 rising in 7 steps to $17.56

Editor’s notes: Contract negotiations: Maximum of 72 hours will be paid for negotiations. The union committee will be limited to 4 employees from Prince Albert and 2 employees from any of the branches with no more than 1 from any 1 department. Union shop decals: The employer will permit the ILWU to install a union shop decal in each of its business locations. The decal will be posted in a place approved by the employer, but the decal will be placed in a position where it can be seen by the public. Minimum wage increase: If the minimum wage increases, the starting rates of all classifications in the agreement will be increased in order to maintain a minimum level of $0.25 above minimum wage.
