Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2017. Signed on Jan. 1, 2015.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective July 1, 2015: Professors, lecturers — $2,200/year; librarians — 5.5% to 6.8%; lab instructors — instructors: 7% to 8% 
Effective July 1, 2016: $2,200/year                  
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 4 weeks to start, 5 weeks after 3 years, 6 weeks after 6 years.
Medical benefits: Employer pays premiums for coverage for staff members and eligible dependants.
Dental: Employer pays premiums for coverage for staff members and eligible dependants.
Vision: Employer pays premiums for coverage for staff members and eligible dependants.
Paramedical: Employer provides $900 per year health care spending account to supplement benefits.
Sick leave: 10 working days with pay per year, cannot be carried forward. Staff members who work beyond the normal retirement date and are no longer eligible for salary continuance are eligible for additional 90 calendar days of paid sick leave.
LTD: Salary continuance plan for balance of current appointments. Members with additional confirmed appointments paid 1/4 of amount indicated in letters of appointment.
Life insurance: Basic group insurance coverage of two times annual salary or a minimum of $50,000. Employer pays premiums.
Bereavement leave: Up to 5 working days with pay for death or grave illness in family. Up to 5 working days for birth or adoption in family, or to attend to urgent personal matters.
Seniority – recall rights: 3 years.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 3 months.
Severance: 21 days’ suspension with the opportunity to file grievance during that time for with-cause termination. 1 month’s pay for every completed year of service for discontinuance of employment. For termination of tenured appointment, 6 months for up to 2 completed years of service plus 1/2 month’s pay for each further year or partial year of service.
Mileage: For teaching classes offered outside Regina or community education centres in Prince Albert or Saskatoon, $360 within 150 km of coordinating city and $560 more than 150 km from co-ordinating city.

Editor’s notes: Sabbatical: Staff members with at least 3 years of continuous service are eligible for 6-month sabbatical; with 6 years of continuous employment, eligible for 12-month sabbatical. Surveillance: Employees will not be put under surveillance without being notified — except when a temporary camera installation is required specifically to capture inappropriate or unlawful behaviour arising from a history of such behaviour at that site or situations of danger and threats to the university community. Medical disabilities furniture: $40,000 per year will be provided to help accommodate workers needing special furniture.
