Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2018. Signed on Nov. 28, 2016. 
Shift premium: Evening shift: $0.93 per hour for work between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. On-call: 1 hour pay for each 8 hours on-call. Training: $0.50 per hour.
Paid holidays: 13 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 9 years, 25 days after 13 years, 30 days after 25 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after regular hours. May be taken as time off, maximum 200 hours in bank.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for group policy provided by Great West Life Assurance Company.
Dental: Basic coverage: 100%. Major coverage: 80%. Orthodontic coverage: 50%. Accidental dental-injury coverage: 100%. Dentures and bridgework: $1,500 every 5 years. Orthodontic treatment: $1,500 lifetime. All other treatment: $1,500 per year. 
Vision: $200 every 24 months. 1 eye examination every 24 months. 
Paramedical: Chiropractors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, naturopaths, psychologists/social workers, speech therapists, massage therapists, audiologists: $750 per year.
Sick leave: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days.
STD: 65% of weekly earnings for 17 weeks.
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 65% of monthly earnings, maximum $3,200 after 120 days.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $120,000. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 300% annual earnings, maximum $120,000. 
Pension: Employees will be registered into Ontario Pension Plan, administered by Ontario Pension Board.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, brother, sister, grandchildren, grandparents of employee and spouse). 1 day for death in extended family (son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, foster-parent, legal guardian).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: The greater of time and one-half per hour or 4 hours' regular rate.
Probationary period: 9 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: After 5 years’ service: 1 week’s pay for each year.

Editor’s notes: Remote/isolation pay: Zone 1 (Weenusk): $7,650. Zone 2 (Attawapiskat, Kashechewan, Fort Albany): $6,375. Zone 3 (Marten Falls, Moose Cree, NW Fly-ins): $4,215. Employee will receive 1/26 of pay each cheque. Service pay/qualification badges: Employee will receive service badge for each 5-year period, service pay of $10 per month for each earned badge. Plainclothes duty: $1,250 ($625 paid semi-annually). Entitlement on death: Regular salary due; 1/12 of annual salary; vacation, leave and overtime credits accrued. When employee killed in line of duty, employer will reimburse funeral expenses, maximum $12,000. Marriage leave: After 1 year of employment, employee will receive leave with pay for 2 days to attend wedding.
