Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on July 20, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective first year: 0%
Effective second year: 0%
Effective third year: 0%
Shift premium: $2 per hour for working night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 87.36 hours to start, 131.04 hours after 2 years, 174.72 hours after 6 years, 218.40 hours after 10 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 12 hours per day or 48 hours per week. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: 6.9% of hours worked per month, maximum 151 hours per year, maximum accumulation of 900 hours.
STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Every full-time employee will join Local Authorities Pension Plan after 1 year of service.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse, parents, sisters, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, children, stepparents, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents, stepchildren, brothers, father-in-law, son-in-law, stepgrandparents, stepgrandchildren, relative residing in employee’s household). 1 day to attend funeral.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Probationary period: 520 hours or 3 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Severance: 1 week’s pay, if employed more than 3 months but less than 2 years; 2 weeks’ pay if employed 2 years or more but less than 4 years; 4 weeks’ pay if employed 4 years or more but less than 6 years; 5 weeks’ pay if employed 6 years or more but less than 8 years; 6 weeks’ pay if employed 8 years or more but less than 10 years; 8 weeks if employed 10 years or more.
Uniforms/clothing: Once per year for regular employees, employer will provide  choice of either 4 polo shirts and 2 smocks or 4 smocks and clothing allowance of $150 for black pants. Casual and temporary employees will be provided once per year with choice of either 2 polo shirts and 1 smock or 2 smocks and clothing allowance of $100 for black pants.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current):
Support worker: $25.46
Lump-sum payment of $150 will be made to every full-time, regular employee on April 1 of each year of contract.
Editor’s notes: Background check: Employee will be required to complete criminal record check during probationary period. Living allowance: Employer will pay living allowance for cost of living in Fort McMurray, Municipality of Wood Buffalo, Alta., of $1,040 per year.
