Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on May 3, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2016: 1.5%
Effective April 1, 2017: 1.25%
Effective April 1, 2018: 1.5%
Shift premium: $0.65 per hour for work beginning after 11:59 a.m. and before 7:59 p.m. $0.65 per hour for work after 4 p.m. $0.72 per hour for work beginning after 7:59 p.m. and before 5 a.m. $0.90 per hour for regularly scheduled work on Saturday and Sunday. $1.75 per hour for lead hand tradesperson.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus day immediately prior to Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and Friday of employer’s mid-year recess. 
Vacations with pay: 10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 3 years, 20 days after 10 years, 25 days after 19 years, 26 days after 20 years, 27 days after 21 years, 28 days after 22 years, 29 days after 23 years, 30 days after 24 years.
Overtime: Double time for all hours of work after regular shifts. Employee may take one and one-half overtime hours worked as time off in lieu of pay. 
Meal allowance: $10 when working more than 9 hours per day.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Green Shield Dental Plan 15. $3,500 lifetime maximum for orthodontist.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $400 every 24 months plus 1 eye exam every 12 months.
Paramedical: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Maximum $800 per year for massage therapy. Maximum $600 per year for chiropractic. Maximum $900 per year for physiotherapy.
LTD: 66 2/3 pay after 105 days, maximum $6,000 per month.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 2 times annual salary, maximum $170,000.
Pension: University of Windsor Employees’ Retirement Plan. Employer contributes 2%, employee contributes 6%. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of legal or common-law spouse, son, daughter, stepchild, child in legal guardianship, parent. 3 days for death of brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, stepmother, stepfather, grandchild, grandparent, grandparent-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months.
Call-in pay: For the trades positions in maintenance department: minimum 4 hours’ overtime rate or 6 hours at straight time rate or actual hours worked at appropriate premium rate, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 60 days within 8-month period.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Safety shoes: $225 per year (previously $200 per year).
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide laboratory coats, safety glasses, gloves, aprons where necessary. For employees in Faculty of Human Kinetics, Centre for Flexible Learning, and at help desk in IT services, employer will make available rainwear and rubber boots as required. For trades positions in the maintenance department employer will provide: coveralls, safety rubber boots, rainwear, gloves, whenever necessary. Employer will provide plumbers, carpenters, masons, painters, electricians with winter and spring jackets every 2 years.
Tool allowance: Employer will replace tools broken while on job.

Editor’s notes: Hearing aids: $1,000 every 5 years. Long-service pay: After 5 years: $50; after 10 years: $100; after 15 years: $150; after 20 years: $200. Office space: University will provide office space available for Local 1393 at $160 per year.
