Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Ratified on Dec. 13, 2017. Signed on Jan. 23, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective 2018: 0.75%
Effective 2019: 1%
Effective 2020: 2%
Shift premium: $2.50 per hour when employee is assigned to fulfill duties of higher-rated classification — for more than 1 day — within bargaining unit. $3.50 per hour when employee is assigned to fulfill duties of higher-rated classification — for more than 1 month — within bargaining unit. $1.50 per hour for all hours worked between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 Christmas float day. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 14 years, 6 weeks after 21 years. Maximum 5 days may be carried over per year. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week, Saturday, Sunday for inside workers. Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Saturday, Sunday for outside workers. May be banked, maximum 40 hours per year. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Weekly indemnity: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: 1 day per month, maximum 48 days.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, parent, spouse’s parent. 3 days for death of grandparents of spouse, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law. 2 additional days for travel more than 300 kilometres 1-way. 1 day to attend funeral of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at overtime rate.
Probationary period: 90 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Safety shoes: $150 per year for CSA-approved safety footwear for all outside employees. May be carried over to next year, maximum $200. Total amount of allowance in 1 year: $1,000.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide $800 per year clothing allowance for: high-visibility work clothing, coveralls, insulated coveralls, winter wear, gloves, wet gear.
