Renewal agreement: Effective March 23, 2017, to June 30, 2020. Signed on March 23, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective July 1, 2017: 1.25%
Effective July 1, 2018: 1.5%
Effective July 1, 2019: 1.75%
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 15 days after 1 year, 16 days after 3 years, 17 days after 4 years, 18 days after 5 years, 19 days after 6 years, 20 days after 7 years, 21 days after 10 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for work in excess of 173 hours per pay period. May be taken as time off. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Queen’s Supplementary Medical Plan.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Queen’s Dental Plan.
Sick leave: 9 days per year (previously 6 days per year). Unused time may be carried over into next year. 
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 55% of premiums, employee pays 45% of premiums. 
Pension: Employees may join Queen’s Pension Plan after 2 years of employment.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of parent, stepparent, foster-parent, spouse, partner, child, stepchild, foster child, sibling, stepsibling.
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply personal-protective equipment and other devices that employer requires employees to wear or utilize.
Sample rates of annual pay (current, after 2.6% increase):
Minimum base salary: $34,000 rising 2 steps to $34,900
Editor’s notes: Union facilities: Union will have access to the following additional services of employer at standard internal user rates: telephone services, audio-visual services, reprographic services, internet access, web-page access. Research-related expenses: Employees will be reimbursed for personal certifications, licensing (professional, motor vehicle) and registration fee that are required to complete research. Social justice fund: $0.01 per hour from wages of employees in bargaining unit — who have elected to participate — for all hours to PSAC Social Justice Fund. Childcare benefit plan: For employees with at least 1 eligible child younger than 7 with respect to daycare, and at least 1 eligible child younger than 12: $55,000 combined annual maximum for reimbursements that will be paid to all employees in bargaining unit. Maximum $2,000 per child per year.
