Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2017, to Feb. 29, 2020. Ratified on Oct. 23, 2017. Signed on Oct. 13, 2017.
Shift premium: $0.75 per hour for lead-hand. $1.06 per hour for employees working on afternoon shift. $1.16 per hour for employees working on night shift. $0.25 per hour for advanced first-aid attendants.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days or 4% to start, 10 days or 4% after 1 year, 15 days or 6% after 5 years, 20 days or 8% after 12 years, 25 days or 10% after 23 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, double time after 12 hours. Time and one-half for all work on Saturday, double time after 8 hours. Double time for all work on Sunday.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Preventative care: 80%. Other expenses: 80%, maximum $2,000 per year. Crowns, bridges: 50%. Dentures: 75%, combined maximum $2,000 per year. Orthodontia: 50%, lifetime maximum $3,000 per eligible child dependant up to 19.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $250 per 24-month period. 
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 60% of employee’s weekly earnings. 
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $45,000. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $45,000. 
Pension: Kawneer Company Canada Limited Pension Plan for Hourly-Rated Employees. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (mother, father, stepparents, spouse, common-law relationships of 1 year, same-gender partners, child, stepchild, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, stepparents of spouse, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild). 
Call-in pay: 30 minutes travelling time each way at regular hourly rate plus pay for time worked at regular hourly rate plus applicable overtime or 4 hours at regular rate plus overtime, whichever is greater. 
Probationary period: 75 working days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Safety shoes: $175 per year for approved metatarsal safety footwear. 
Tool allowance: Employer will replace tool boxes and contents on employer premises for maintenance mechanics, maintenance electricians, toolmakers, tool repair employees, for damage by loss, fire or water, maximum $15,000. Employer will provide $400 per year for same employees.
