Renewal agreement: Effective April 7, 2013 to April 6, 2018. Signed on June 15, 2015.

Wage adjustments:
Effective June 2013: 2.5%
Effective June 2014: 2.5%
Effective June 2015: 2%
Effective June 2016: 1.5%
Effective June 2017: 1.5%

Paid holidays: 8 days.

Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 6% after 5 years of service.

Bereavement leave: 1 paid day for employee’s spouse, child, spouse’s child, father, mother, brother or sister. Employee can take up to 1 week unpaid. 1 unpaid day for employee’s son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law or sister-in-law.

Seniority – recall rights: 1 year.

Probationary period: 300 hours worked in 4 months.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.

Uniforms/clothing: $35 per year for male employees and $60 per year for female employees for the purpose of purchasing bathing suits.

Assistant lifeguard: $11.94 per hour rising in 3 steps to $14.05
Lifeguard: $15.83 rising in 3 steps to $16.61
Beach lifeguard: $15.94 rising in 3 steps to $16.72
Head lifeguard: $24.22 rising in 3 steps to $28.49
Head beach lifeguard: $24.62 rising in 3 steps to $28.92
Aquatic supervisor: $33.16 rising in 3 steps to $38
Monitor: $16.98 rising in 3 steps to $19.98
Head monitor: $25.03 rising in 3 steps to $29.44
Specialist – bronze star: $24.21 rising in 3 steps to $28.75
Specialist – bronze medal: $24.21 rising in 3 steps to $28.75
Specialist – bronze cross: $24.21 rising in 3 steps to $28.75
Specialist – first aid: $26.92 rising in 3 steps to $31.46
