Jazz dispatchers ratify labour agreement

New deal will expire in 2025

Dispatchers at Jazz Aviation, a subsidiary of Chorus Aviation, ratified a new collective agreement.

The 62 affected employees are represented by the Canadian Air Line Dispatchers Association (CALDA).

The deal will last just under 11 years and expire on Dec. 31, 2025. The term of the agreement is consistent with the term of Jazz’s amended capacity purchase agreement with Air Canada.

According to the employer, the deal includes enhancements to productivity in addition to providing long-term labour stability and cost-control measures.
