Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2017. Signed on Feb. 8, 2016.

Wage adjustments:

Effective April 1, 2014: 2.5%
Effective April 1, 2015: 2.5%
Effective April 1, 2016: 2%

Shift premium
: $1 per hour for a shift where at least two hours are worked between 4 p.m. and 12 a.m. $1.90 per hour for any shift with the majority of hours worked between 12:01 a.m. and 8 a.m. (rising to $2.05 per hour on Oct. 1, 2016). Weekend premium of $1.50 per hour (rising to $1.65 per hour on Oct. 1, 2016).

Paid holidays: 
12 days, up to 4 alternative days in lieu of general holidays can be banked.

Vacations with pay:
3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 4 years, 5 weeks after 8 years, 6 weeks after 18 years, 7 weeks after 20 years, 1 additional week every 5 years thereafter.

Overtime
: Time and one-half for first 3 hours, double time for subsequent hours. Double time on employee’s scheduled day off and two and one-half times regular pay for general holidays. Double time for working a second consecutive shift.

Meal allowance:
$7 or a meal provided after 2 hours of overtime.

Medical benefits:
Cost shared on a 50/50 basis.

Dental:
Cost shared on a 50/50 basis.

STD & LTD:
Company will contribute a maximum of 2.3% of base salary to disability plan.

Bereavement leave:
Up to 4 consecutive paid days for death of immediate family member, with up to 2 additional  days if necessary for travel. An additional 1 day with pay for death of spouse, son or daughter. 1 paid day to attend a funeral, 1 paid day to attend as a pallbearer.

Seniority – recall rights:
If layoff is more than 6 weeks, employee can displace an employee with the same or lower salary range if possessing the qualifications.

Call-in pay:
2 hours’ basic pay for each 8-hour period on call.

Safety shoes:
$100 per year. Can be carried over for 1 year.

Uniforms/clothing:
Uniforms provided for employees who are required to wear them. Employer will supply laundering.
