Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2017, to Aug. 31, 2020. Ratified on Jan. 22, 2018. Signed on April 11, 2018. 
Shift premium: $2.29 per hour for work between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Effective Sept. 1, 2019: $2.32 per hour. $1.64 per hour (previously $1.61 per hour) for working charge-hands. Effective Sept. 1, 2019: $1.66 per hour. $3.20 per hour (previously $3.14 per hour) for assistant foremen. Effective Sept. 1, 2019: $3.24 per hour. $1.52 per hour (previously $1.49 per hour) for senior foremen. Effective Sept. 1, 2019: $1.54 per hour. $5.11 per hour for trade foremen. Effective Sept. 1, 2019: $5.17 per hour.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 17 years, 30 days after 25 years. Days may be accumulated, maximum 2 years’ vacation entitlement. 5 extra days will be added if employee hasn’t been absent for 2 years. Entitlement will be reduced by 1 day for each absence. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, double time for all work on holidays. May be accumulated, maximum 60 hours. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $750 per year for health-spending account/wellness-spending account.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Sick leave: 20 days per year, maximum accumulation of 185 days.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: Employer will grant leave with pay to employees who are required to be absent because of death of near relatives or other persons. Granting of leave and number of days allowed will be at discretion of employer.
Seniority – recall rights: 8 months. 
Call-in pay: Greater of 3 hours at double time or actual time worked at double time on basic rate including maximum 1 hour for traveling time, if call-in occurs more than 3 hours prior to start of regular shift. Double time for all call-ins that occur within 3 hours of regular shift. 
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 30 months.
Severance: 10 days’ regular pay for each year of service after 10 years of service. 
Safety shoes: $325.52 every 2 years for CSA-approved safety footwear or work-related clothing. Effective Sept. 1, 2019: $329.59.
