Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on Jan. 1, 2018.
Shift premium: $0.45 per hour for afternoon shift (starting between noon and 6 p.m.). $0.50 per hour for night shift (starting between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.). $0.50 per hour for graveyard shift (starting between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.). $1 per hour for each straight-time hour worked on Saturday or Sunday. $2.50 per hour for employee covered in CBA, working in Snow Lake and not living in subsidized-company accommodation. $2 per hour (previously $1 per hour) northern-travel benefit for all employees. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 10 days after 1 year, 11 days after 2 years, 12 days after 3 years, 13 days after 4 years, 15 days after 5 years, 16 days after 7 years, 17 days after 9 years, 18 days after 11 years, 19 days after 13 years, 21 days after 15 years, 22 days after 20 years, 23 days after 21 years, 24 days after 22 years, 25 days after 23 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week or on first and subsequent days of rest. 
Meal allowance: For unscheduled overtime, meal or $15 (previously $10), after 3 hours of overtime.
Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums to provide health-plan benefits.
Dental: Employer will pay 100% of costs for basic services (diagnostic services, preventive services, restorative services, simple extractions and prosthetic services (repair of damaged dentures) and routine examinations as frequently as every 6 months). Employer will pay 60% of costs for intermediate services, endodontic services, periodontal services, prosthodontic services (removable), prosthodontic services - fixed (bridges), oral surgery. Combined maximum $2,250 per person, per year. 50% coverage for orthodontic services for dependent children, lifetime maximum $5,000 per dependent child. 1 return bus fare will be paid to employee and registered dependants for out-of-town orthodontic services, maximum 5 trips per family per year, within Manitoba or Saskatchewan.
Vision: $300 per member every 24 months. Employer will pay for eye-examination fee every 24 months.
Paramedical: $250 per year per family on 50% coverage basis for services used (includes chiropractic, orthotics, registered massage therapy, physiotherapy).
AD&D: Coverage of $45,000. 
Life insurance: Coverage of $45,000. 
Pension: Employees will receive benefits of non-contributory pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 10 days for death of spouse, son, daughter. 3 days for death of mother, father, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, spouse’s grandmother, spouse’s grandfather, grandchild, any relative residing in employee’s household. 2 additional days if employee attends funeral outside of Manitoba or Saskatchewan.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at overtime rates, plus 1 hour. If call-in occurs between midnight and 4 a.m., additional payment of $50 will be given. If employee uses own vehicle to outlying mines, $0.40 per kilometre will be paid. 
Probationary period: 480 hours worked (including overtime hours worked). 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for non-punitive discipline.
Severance: 1 week’s pay per year of service. 
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide partial or full reimbursement for damage to clothing where damage arises while employee of service department is assigned to plant for temporary duty.
Tool allowance: Personal tools broken in service or lost in inaccessible places will be replaced by tools of equal value by employer.

Editor’s notes: COLA allowance: Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) will be triggered only if cost of living for previous quarter exceeds 1.25% and to be paid on that portion of increase only which exceeds 1.25% for that quarter. Smoking cessation: $500 per employee for products, not on Manitoba Drug Formulary, which are sold on written prescription of physician and dispensed by pharmacist. Apprentice bonus: $100 for apprentice who has completed term of instruction; $1,000 after 1 year as journeyman/tradesman with employer.
