Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on April 11, 2018.
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for employees who’s regularly assigned shifts commence between 2 p.m. and 5:59 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 2 floater days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 hour per 25 hours worked, maximum 80 hours, after 240 hours; 1 hour per 16.67 hours worked, maximum 120 hours, after 5 years; 1 hour per 12.5 hours worked, maximum 160 hours, after 10 years; 1 hour per 10 hours worked, maximum 200 hours, after 19 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 
Meal allowance: $10 (previously $9) if employee works more than 10 hours in 1 shift.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $35,000 on 80%-20% co-pay basis.
Dental: Employees will receive 80%-20% co-pay preventative plan which includes checkups, cleaning, fillings, extractions, X-rays, root canals, periodontal and endodontic services, maximum $1,000 per family member per year.
Vision: $175 per 2-year period. Additional $50 per 2-year period may be used for prescription safety glasses for employees only.
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $35,000.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $35,000.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of spouse, common-law partner, child, parent, brother, sister, stepparent, common-law parent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, stepchild, common-law child, grandchild, grandparent, relative who resides with employee), after 3 months of service.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months to start; 24 months after 25 months of service. 
Call-in pay: 4 hours at overtime rates.
Probationary period: 90 days worked. 
Safety shoes: Maximum $290 per 2-year period (previously $130 per year).
Uniforms/clothing: Employees will be provided with 2 summer or 1 winter set of coveralls per year.

Employees hired before Jan. 1, 2009 
Track maintainer: $24.86 rising 2 steps to $25.49
Equipment operator: $26.20 rising 2 steps to $26. 86
Track foreman: $27.24 rising 2 steps to $27.92
Welder: $29.63 rising 2 steps to $30.38
Employees hired after Jan. 1, 2009
Probationary/seasonal: $14.19 rising 2 steps to $14.54
Track maintainer: $20.92 rising 2 steps to $21.45
Equipment operator: $22.05 rising 2 steps to $22.60
Track foreman: $22.93 rising 2 steps to $23.51
Welder: $24.94 rising 2 steps to $25.57
Editor’s notes: Medical exams: 2 hours at regular rate for medical examinations secured outside of regular working hours when requested by employer. Retiring allowance: $2,500 will be paid by employer to retiree. Personal cellphones: $25 per month for employees who use personal cellphones for work purposes.
