Windsor, Ont. (1,000 faculty members, librarians) and the Windsor University Faculty Association (WUFA)

Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2021. Signed on July 1, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective July 1, 2017: 1.6%
Effective July 1, 2018: 1.6%
Effective July 1, 2019: 1.75%
Effective July 1, 2020: 2%
Shift premium: Librarian will receive responsibility stipend when appointed as library department/section head, including acting library department/section head: $6,500 (previously $6,000) for 1 to 15 people; $7,500 (previously $7,000) for 16 to 24 people; $8,500 (previously $8,000) for 25 or more people.
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 month per year prorated to start, 1 month after 1 year for faculty members. 22 days per year prorated to start, 22 days after 1 year for librarians, 25 days after 20 years. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Green Shield Supplemental Hospitalization Plan and Green Shield Extended Health Benefit Plan.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Green Shield Dental Plan 35 (including $3,000 additional cost); 80% co-insurance for major restorative.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Green Shield Vision Plan ($400 every 24 months. Effective July 1, 2020: $425 every 24 months) routine annual optometry examinations, maximum $75 per examination. 
Paramedical: $800 per year (previously $600 per year) for massage therapy. $1,000 per year for speech therapist, speech pathologist. 50% of scheduled fee to clinical psychologist for 20 visits. $600 per year (previously $475 per year) for chiropractic coverage. $850 per year (previously $800 per year) for physiotherapist (Effective July 1, 2020: $900). $500 per year for chiropodist, podiatric coverage. 
Sick leave: 105 calendar days.
LTD: Coverage of 66 2/3% of first $2,500 normal salary plus 50% of next $4,500 normal salary plus 40% of balance of normal salary immediately prior to date of accident or sickness, maximum $10,000.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 3 times normal salary, maximum $400,000.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 3 times normal salary, maximum $400,000.
Pension: University of Windsor Retirement Plan for Faculty and Certain Employees.
Bereavement leave: Time to be determined by dean or university librarian or law librarian in consultation with provost.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. 
Severance: 12 months’ notice or 12 months’ salary in lieu of notice or combination of notice and salary equal to 12 months and 1 month’s salary for each year’s service, maximum of 12 months’ salary.
Mileage: $0.54 for each kilometre driven in private car for authorized university travel.

All professorial, librarian, AAS ranks, including university professor: $1,500
Sessional lecturer: $1,207
Overload stipend: $6,000 rising 1 step to $6,075
Editor’s notes: Public-liability insurance: Employer will provide $10 million public-liability insurance coverage insuring members who are acting within scope of employment, against liability claims (including property damage, personal injury). Anomalies fund: $160,000 to alleviate anomalies of full-time faculty and librarian members. Hearing aids: $2,250 every 5 years; hearing tests, maximum $75 every 5 years. Professional Development and Membership Fund: Employer will provide for costs of travel, accommodation and other related expenses incurred for attendance at learned or professional conferences, symposiums or for other authorized university travel and for payment of the membership dues of professional or learned societies, for academic journals and books, and for professional development. Effective July 1, 2017: $1,600 for faculty\librarian\AAS-LS\AAS (Effective July 1, 2019: $1,650); Effective July 1, 2017: $1,100 for sessional lecturers (Effective July 1, 2019: $1,125). Per diem: $13 for breakfast; $22 for lunch; $35 for dinner; $17 for incidentals; $87 total.
