Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2017, to Feb. 28, 2021. Signed on March 1, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective March 1, 2017: 2%
Effective March 1, 2018: 2%
Effective March 1, 2019: 2%
Effective March 1, 2020: 2.5%
Shift premium: $0.15 per hour for all straight-time hours worked for employees actively on payroll at end of each quarter. Time and one-half for 4 hours for employee required to carry pager. $0.60 per hour for employees working on shifts beginning between 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. Time and one-half for all work on Sunday. $0.75 per hour for 12-hour employees for all hours worked between 7 p.m. on day shift starts and 7 a.m. on next day. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 to 10 days per year (depending on month beginning service) to start, 10 days after 2 years, 2 weeks after 3 years, 3 weeks after 6 years, 4 weeks after 11 years, 5 weeks after 21 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work outside of normal scheduled hours for 8-hour employees. Time and one-half for all work after 12 hours per day or 80 hours per 2-week cycle for 12-hour employees. 
Medical benefits: $350 per year in lieu of Alberta health-care premium.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 100% reimbursement of expenses for basic, restorative work, maximum $1,750 per year to each employee or dependant.
Vision: $220 every 2 years (previously $200 every 2 years). $80 every 2 years for eye exams.
Paramedical: $220 per year (previously $200 per year) for massage. $220 per year (previously $200 per year) for chiropractor.
Sick leave: Employees will be enrolled in sick-pay plan as condition of employment: 4 weeks after 6 months’ seniority: 16 weeks after 18 months’ seniority; 26 weeks after 5 years’ seniority; 34 weeks after 7 years’ seniority; 52 weeks after 10 years’ seniority.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $30,000.
Bereavement leave: 24 paid hours for death of wife, husband, common-law spouse, same-sex partner, daughter, son, mother, father, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, spouse’s grandmother, spouse’s grandfather, stepchildren, stepparents, legal guardians, grandchildren.
Seniority – recall rights: Time equivalent to one-half length of seniority, after 90 days of service; time equivalent to length of seniority but not more than 2 years, after 1 year of service.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at regular rate.
Probationary period: 720 hours of work. 
Severance: Employer will provide separation allowance, if plant is permanently closed: $370 after 1 year of service; $490 after 2 years of service; $635 after 3 years of service; $800 after 4 years of service; $1,000 after 5 years of service; $1,200 after 6 years of service; $1,410 after 7 years of service; $1,625 after 8 years of service; $1,840 after 9 years of service; $2,060 after 10 years of service.
Safety shoes: $170 reimbursement (previously $165) for CSA-approved safety footwear, maximum 2 pairs per year. Employer will provide rubber boots to employees who require them.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide to employees all WHMIS/HACCP required personal protective equipment, such as wetsuits. $16 reimbursement for employees who purchase quilted vest or liner through company for use on job, once every 3 years.
Tool allowance: $100 per year per employee for maintenance mechanics, packaging, fryer operators for required tools broken on job and worn out. Unused portion, maximum $100, may be carried over into following year.

Grader room operator: $16.25 rising 5 steps to $17.68
Janitor: $14.98 rising 5 steps to $16.29 
Mainline-fryer operator: $18.29 rising 5 steps to $19.89
Packaging operator: $17.16 rising 5 steps to $18.67 
Process operator: $18.29 rising 5 steps to $19.89 
Receiver/grader: $16.72 rising 5 steps to $18.19
