Renewal agreement: Effective March 26, 2018, to Aug. 31, 2020. Signed on Feb. 2, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Oct. 31, 2018: 1.75%
Effective Oct. 31, 2019: 1.8%
Shift premium: $1.15 per hour for all hours worked, including overtime hours, between 6 p.m. and midnight. $1.40 per hour for all hours worked, including overtime hours, between midnight and 6 a.m. $1.40 per hour for work on Saturday, Sunday.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus first Monday in August. 
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 14 years, 6 weeks after 21 years, 7 weeks after 28 years. For employees hired after May 12, 2014: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 18 years, 6 weeks after 28 years. Unused time may be carried over into following year. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours of overtime, double time thereafter. Double time or 3 hours of pay minimum, whichever is greater, for all work on day of rest. May be converted to compensatory leave and carried over into following fiscal year if not used, but will be paid out if not used in that year. 
Meal allowance: $6.25 for work more than 2 hours overtime in excess of daily schedule or shift; additional one-half hour paid lunch (at time and one-half) break after 3 hours of overtime. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 95% of premiums, employee pays 5% of premiums. Employer pays 80% of prescription drug expenses, employee pays 5%. Employer pays 70% per cent of provincial medical premium, employee pays 30%.
Dental: Employer pays 95% of premiums, employee pays 5% of premiums. $1,000 maximum per year per person for basic. $2,000 maximum per year per person for major. $2,000 lifetime maximum per child for orthodontic.
Vision: Maximum $300 for each 4-year period. Lifetime maximum $300 for visual correction by laser.
Sick leave: 7 days.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster-parent, brother, sister, spouse, common-law spouse resident with employee, child, child of common-law spouse, stepchild, ward of employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparents, grandparents of employee’s spouse, grandchildren, any relative residing in employee’s household). 1 day for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: Equivalent to length of seniority after 6 months of service; 2 years after 2 years of service; 4 years after 4 years of service.
Call-in pay: 3 hours’ pay at applicable overtime rate or compensation at applicable overtime rate (if period of overtime worked is not contiguous to scheduled hours), whichever is greater. 
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year or 2 years.

Editor’s notes: Lifting restriction: No employee will be required to lift, by hand, any object heavier than 22.7 kilograms. Permanent transfer: When employee is transferred permanently from 1 working place to another, employee will be entitled to $300 lump-sum compensation if distance between residence and new working place has increased by 3 kilometres. Standby: 1 hour’s pay at straight time, minimum $20, for each 8-hour period on standby. Hearing benefits: $750 for each 60-month period.
