Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 1, 2018, to Jan. 31, 2021. Signed on June 14, 2018.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Feb. 1, 2018: 1.5%
Effective Feb. 1, 2019: 2%
Effective Feb. 1, 2020: 2%
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for work between 6 p.m. to midnight; $1.25 per hour for work between 12:01 a.m. to 8 a.m. (not applicable if employee is being paid Sunday differential). $1.50 per hour for employee assigned as charge hand. $1.55 per hour for employee in charge of exchange who reports to foreman in another adjacent exchange or centre or employee assigned to assist foreman in direction of work affected by this schedule. $1.70 per hour when in absence of foreman due to sickness, vacation, when in-scope replacement is required, employee will be selected to fill, for limited time, regular foreman vacancy. $1.90 per hour when acting foreman assignment exceeds 3 months. $1.50 per hour for employee assigned as expeditor. $1.55 per hour for training associate ($1.30 per for staff associate) assigned to training centre as instructor, for non-supervisory assignment up to 3 years; $1.65 per hour thereafter. Double time, minimum 2 hours, for time worked on bridge, tower, radio or microwave structure, or fixture outside perimeter of building, 85 feet or more above point at which structure is affixed.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floating holiday. 
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 6 years, 5 weeks after 14 years, 6 weeks after 21 years, 7 weeks after 34 years. Additional 7 days for employee receiving remoteness allowance within location having no access by road. For employee receiving remoteness allowance within location having access by road, 2 additional vacation credits, not necessarily taken adjacent to regular vacation credits. Employees headquartered in Gillam, Lynn Lake and Leaf Rapids will be entitled to 2 additional vacation credits, for a total of 4. Credits will only be allowed if employee qualifies for at least 5 regular vacation credits and if employee leaves remoteness allowance area.
Overtime: Paid at double time. May be taken as time off in lieu. Maximum amount of time employee may bank and maintain will be equivalent to hours employee would normally work per 4-week period.
Sick leave: 3 days after 3 months; 6 days after next 6 months; 12 days in each of second through fourth years; 21 days in fifth year; 22 days in each of sixth through 10 years. Maximum 176 days accumulated. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law partner, father, mother, spouse or common-law partner of father or mother, children, children of employee’s spouse or common-law partner, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, father and mother of spouse or common-law partner, spouse or common-law partner of father or mother, any relative who resides with employee). Where exceptional circumstances arise, employee may be allowed maximum of 1 week.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Paid for at applicable overtime rate from time employee is called and will continue after completion of job until time that is reasonably necessary to travel home, minimum 2 hours.
Probationary period: 6 months, maximum 12 months for general apprentice.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 1 week per year of service for first 5 years of employment; 2 weeks per year of service thereafter, combined total of maximum 35 weeks.
Safety shoes: $165 per year, may be carried forward into following year, maximum $330, company-approved footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply and maintain fire-resistant coveralls for cable splicers involved with handling grease filled cable. Employer will reimburse employee 50% of cost, maximum $40, for 1 set of coveralls per year. Employer will supply and maintain coveralls or smocks for garage and building maintenance employees.
