Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2019, to Dec. 31, 2022. Ratified on Dec. 10, 2018. Signed on Dec. 10, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 1%
Effective Jan. 1, 2020: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2021: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2022: 2%
Shift premium: 12% above employee’s master classification rate for employees who temporarily perform positions out of bargaining unit.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day to 15 days to start (depending on month started), 15 days after 2 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 17 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. For employees hired before Jan. 1, 2009, vacation may be carried over into following year and upon termination of employment, employee on this system will be paid out outstanding accrued vacation time for prior year plus pro-rated amount earned in current year up to and including termination date.
Overtime: Double time for all work before and after normal working hours or on days off. May be banked and taken as time off but must be used within calendar year. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for core extended health care. Employee pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of immediate relative (spousal or common-law spousal immediate relative: son, daughter, spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, legal guardians, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandfather-in-law, grandmother-in-law). One-half day funeral leave for death of any member of CUPE, Local 70 or if employee is pallbearer at funeral in Lethbridge (1 day if funeral is out of town). Maximum 2 days when travel is required that exceeds 500 kilometres or more 1 way.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years. 
Probationary period: 6 months (975 hours for 37.5-hour work-week; 1,040 hours for 40-hour work-week). 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Tool allowance: $700 per year for mechanics; $350 per year for welders; $200 per year for utility workers; $100 per year for machine operators.

Editor’s notes: Emergency calls: Double time for emergency calls, minimum 2 hours, for any 1 call. Within 2 hours, 30 minutes is provided for reporting to work. Standby assignments: Flat rate based on 2 hours at double time for each weekday, Monday to Friday; 3 hours at double time for each weekend day (Saturday, Sunday) and each holiday that falls within weekly assignment.
