Avcorp Industries reached a new labour agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), Lodge 250 for its Delta, B.C. facility on Sept. 26.

As a result, the Avcorp’s operations in Delta will resume to full capacity effective Sept. 26. Workers had been locked out since Sept. 16, says the union.

“We are looking forward to having our employees back to work and do what they do best. We also want to thank our staff for going above and beyond the call of duty and for their extraordinary support,” says Jessica Gill, VP of HR for the Avcorp Group.

The Avcorp Group designs and builds major airframe structures for aircraft companies, including BAE Systems, Boeing, Bombardier, Lockheed Martin and Subaru Corporation.

The Avcorp Group has more than 60 years of experience, more than 700 skilled employees and 636,000 square feet of facilities.
