Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2019: Wage reopener
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for employee who replaces another employee in position of greater responsibility outside scope of bargaining unit for 2 hours or more. $1.25 per hour worked for temporary appointment as lead-hand in facilities, maintenance and engineering where there are no lead-hand classifications or senior-maintenance engineers. $2.75 per hour for working shift where majority of hours are between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. or for each regularly scheduled hour worked between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m., if greater than 2 hours are worked between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. $5 per hour for working shift where majority of hours are between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. or for each regularly scheduled hour worked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., if greater than 2 hours are worked between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. $3.25 per hour when majority of hours with 64-hour period beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday or for employees working regularly scheduled shift after 3 p.m. Friday and more than 2 hours are worked. $0.50 per hour for all work performed from scaffolds at 40 feet or more above ground level for all swing stage and bosun’s chair, spider or cage work from ground level to 100 feet. $0.25 per hour for every additional 50 feet to top of structure. $0.65 per hour for employee acting as preceptor for students in post-secondary unit clerk, laboratory assistant, surgical processor or medical transcriptionist education or training program.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 3 years, 25 days after 10 years, 30 days after 20 years. Additional 5 days after 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 years. 
Overtime: Double time for all work after 7 3/4 hours per day or after 8 hours per day for power engineers, plant operators, maintenance worker 4. May be banked as time off in lieu, maximum 38.75 hours at any time. Double time for work on scheduled days off. Double time and one-half for work on holiday.
Medical benefits: Employer will provide $850 per year (previously $750 per year) for flexible spending account. Unused portion may be carried forward, maximum 1 year. 
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Reimbursement of 80% of basic services; 50% of extensive services; 50% of orthodontic services, in accordance with current Alberta Blue Cross Dental Schedule. Maximum $3,000 per person per year to combined basic and extensive services. $3,000 lifetime maximum per person for orthodontic services.
Sick leave: 1 1/2 days per month for each month of employment, maximum 120 days.
STD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 120 days at 66 2/3% of earnings after 14-day elimination period.
LTD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 66 2/3% of earnings after 120-day elimination period.
Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of a member of immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex relationship, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, uncle, aunt, grandparent, grandchild, guardian, fiancé). Additional 2 days for travel more than 320 kilometres 1 way from employee’s residence. 1 day for death of another relative or close friend.
Seniority – recall rights: 365 calendar days. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours' at overtime rates or pay for time worked, whichever is greater. Employee will be reimbursed for round trip between place of employment and home at government of Alberta rates per kilometre.
Probationary period: 503.75 regular hours worked, exclusive of training. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Safety shoes: $170 every 2 years for steel-toed safety footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply and maintain (launder and repair) uniforms that employer requires employees to wear. Protective clothing and safety equipment will be provided by employer.
Mileage: When employee uses private automobile, employee will be reimbursed at government of Alberta rates per kilometre. Employer will reimburse employee of cost of business-use insurance, less cost of personal-use insurance, maximum $500 per year.
