Konecranes Canada technicians approve renewal contract
Employees’ current level of health benefits coverage and retirement savings contributions were maintained, said CLAC.

Unionized crane technicians employed by Konecranes Canada in London, Ont. voted unanimously in favour of a new collective agreement on Aug. 2 reached between the company and their union, the Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 6.

The three-year contract provides employees with an annual 1.75 percent wage increase, said the union.

Employees’ current level of health benefits coverage and retirement savings contributions were maintained, said CLAC.

CLAC has represented the technicians since 1971.
