SaskTel, union reach tentative agreement

Deal with CEP covers more than 3,000 workers

SaskTel and the Communication, Energy and Paperworkers (CEP) have reached a tentative collective agreement.

The agreement covers more than 3,000 union members in roles including customer service, installations, repairs, sales and administrative functions.

“Congratulations to the members of the bargaining committees for their tireless efforts over the past weeks and months," said CEP Western Region vice-president Jim Britton.

The current collective agreement expired on March 16, 2013.
