Pilots sign new deal with NAV Canada

Company tweaks pension plan for new-hires

Pilots at NAV Canada ratified a new collective agreement last week.

On Nov. 29, the Canadian Federal Pilots Association and the country’s privately-run civil air service provider signed a four-year deal, which will run through to 2016.

As part of the new deal, pilots will receive a six per cent wage hike over the life of the contract. NAV Canada will also introduce a new-hire pension plan arrangement on Jan.1, 2014, which will assist in sustaining the pension plan for current employees on a long-term basis.
