Workers ratify new deal with Revco Worldwide in Toronto

Increases to pension contributions, more health account money part of deal: IAM

Members of International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), Local 235 have ratified a new collective agreement with Revco Worldwide on April 3.

The three-year agreement provides wage increases of two per cent in each year, said the union.

Other agreement highlights include Increased IAM pension plan contributions, introduction of a $250 reimbursement health account for massage, physiotherapy or chiropractic care and increased eye glass and eye exams benefits, said IAM.

The nine employees manufacture power transmission components, including roller chain and roller chain sprockets, jaw, R-flex and chain couplings, shaft collars, taper bushings and taper bored weld-in hubs, sheaves and industrial casters and wheels.
