Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 4, 2016, to May 5, 2019. Signed on Jan. 4, 2016. 

Wage adjustments: 
Bargaining unit employees
Effective Jan. 4, 2016: 32¢ 
Effective May 1, 2017: 32¢
Effective May 7, 2018: 33¢
Skilled trades employees
Effective Jan. 4, 2016: 37¢
Effective May 1, 2017: 38¢
Effective May 7, 2018: 38¢

Paid holidays: 13 days and 1 floating holiday. 

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years and 5 weeks after 18 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half. Double time for all hours worked beyond 12 hours per day. Double time for all hours worked on Sunday.  

Life insurance: Employer provides $8,500 life insurance coverage. 

Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s father, mother, spouse, child, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law or grandchild. 2 days for employee’s brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, son-in-law or daughter-in-law. 

Seniority – recall rights: 3 years. 

Probationary period: 60 days. 

Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.

Tool allowance: $350 per year. 

Sample rates of pay, current:
Group H: $32.39 per hour
Group I: $37.67

Editor’s notes: Pregnancy leave: 17 weeks. Parental leave: 37 weeks or 35 weeks if pregnancy leave taken. Living allowance: Frozen for the term of this agreement. In lieu, $500 will be provided to employees each year. Family medical leave: Up to 8 weeks to provide care or support for family members at significant risk of death within 26 weeks.
